Client Overview:
Black in HR is a community of elite African American human resource professionals from around the world. They are committed to presenting a modern brand to the market and connecting with all age demographics, including experienced veterans and young professionals.
Project Description:
Black in HR approached us with a unique project: providing marketing consulting, video production, and photography services to help them create a modern brand that would resonate with HR professionals across different age groups and experience levels. The aim was to promote the community and drive engagement through compelling visual content.
Approach:
We began by conducting in-depth interviews with members of Black in HR community. These interviews were aimed at understanding their experiences, challenges, and successes in the HR industry. We used the insights gained from these interviews to create a messaging framework that would connect with HR professionals across different age groups and experience levels. To establish a modern brand, we opted for a sleek, minimalist design with bold typography and striking imagery. We wanted the brand to be visually appealing and accessible to all age groups, while still conveying a sense of professionalism and expertise.
We also provided video production services to create promotional videos featuring members of Black in HR community. These videos were designed to showcase the community’s values of diversity and excellence while also providing a glimpse into the experiences of its members.
In addition to video production, we provided photography services to capture high-quality images of members of Black in HR community. These photos were repurposed by the client in a multitude of ways to promote the community on social media, the website, and other marketing materials.
Results:
Black in HR was thrilled with the results of the project. The modern branding and messaging framework we created resonated with HR professionals across different age groups and experience levels. The community grew in size and engagement, with an increase in membership applications and participation in events.
