I had a great opportunity to sit in on a panel discussion at the Salesforce Small Business Basecamp in Atlanta. The discussion was titled Navigating the Atlanta Entrepreneur’s World. The panel included Brooks Robinson, Co-founder and CEO, Springbot and Rob Forman, COO and Co-Founder, SalesLoft. It was a lively discussion that including everything from building relationships with customers as well as investors. Click the video below to view the discussion.
You’ve got to nurture the relationship. Let’s say you have customer, there’s a transaction, maybe you get their email — that’s an opportunity for you to grab data and to follow up with that customer. And that’s so important; we can obsess over getting new customers, but we also really have to take care of the ones we have and nurture that relationship.”
